The major concerns that Ashlanders are experiencing in our personal lives due to COVID-19 and the threat of wildfires coupled with increasing awareness of societal inequities, point clearly to the need for strong leadership to meet the challenges our community is facing. Tonya Graham will bring that leadership when she is elected Ashland’s mayor.
For the more than 20 years I have known Tonya I have seen first-hand her strong work ethic. She probes for the root of problems and searches for ways to collaborate with others to find solutions. She worked tirelessly to bring environmental organizations throughout the Northwest together around common issues to increase their efficacy.
I have seen her compassionate and decisive leadership in action in roles as diverse as a youth sports coach and a nonprofit administrator. Tonya Graham will apply these same skills, plus her tireless energy and good humor, to the mayoral responsibilities.
