During the 24 years I’ve lived in Ashland I’ve watched several very competent mayors help to “steer the ship.”
I think Tonya Graham has the best qualifications of anyone who has run for mayor since I’ve lived here, especially at a time when we have so many crucial issues that need to be addressed at once. We need a steady hand.
In our little bubble of Ashland, we often hear phrases like “follow your vision” — a wonderful aspiration. But we need someone who not only has a vision, but is grounded in reality and knows how to come up with and implement workable plans within the limits of the city’s resources. Tonya will bring people together to take Ashland forward.
Tonya doesn’t need to talk about her values, she lives them.
